Co-founder of The Way We Art
Registered Psychotherapist · Art Therapist · Clinical Supervisor
An integrative art therapist and psychotherapist supporting children and adults through trauma, grief, neurodivergence, and life transitions.
About My Practice
I aim to offer a non-judgmental and private space where clients can explore emotions, develop resilience, and reconnect with their own strengths.
Art can offer another way of expressing experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Images, colours, symbols, and the creative process can become ways of noticing and making sense of our inner lives.
My work is integrative and may include art therapy, verbal psychotherapy, EMDR, sand tray, mindfulness, and other approaches depending on each client’s needs.
Clinical Experience & Supervision
My professional experience has included work in community, healthcare, and correctional settings, including Indigenous communities, detention centres, and hospital-based programs.
Alongside my clinical practice with children, youth, adults, and older adults, I provide clinical supervision to therapists integrating creative, relational, and trauma-informed approaches into their work.
My Integrative Approach
Therapy does not follow one formula. I draw from different approaches depending on the person, their goals, and what feels accessible in the work.
Art Therapy and EMDR are central parts of my practice. When appropriate, I may also integrate sand tray, parts-informed work, mindfulness, self-compassion, and skills for emotional regulation.
For clients who find it difficult to describe their experiences verbally, creative and experiential approaches can offer additional ways to explore what is happening internally.
